The Fillmore - New Orleans Customers Reviews
Great show, when it eventually started
Sevendust always plays a great show and this was no exception. But it was a loooong wait before they started. And after they finished playing the entire first album, they only played 3 additional songs. They have such a vast catalog, and we only got 3 extra songs.
Tickets said 7pm, venue website said 7pm, artist website said 7pm. In this case, it means the doors open at 7pm - I have never been to a concert where the only advertised time was the time when the doors open. And nowhere were opening acts advertised, but there were 3 and the headliners did not go on stage until 10:30pm.
Tiny venue, intimate setting
The opening acts were ok, nothing special.
Unfortunate sound malfunction
Went to see Sevendust @ the Paramount in Huntington NY and i'm an avid fan of this band unfortunately I believe the venue was too small for the sound that the band puts out. We sat up in the balcony level and most of the time it was hard to even make out what song the band was playing. I believe they had a sound malfunction during the concert because crew members were running across the stage towards the end plugging and unplugging things in and running around w/flashlights. It's unfortunate because I've been waiting for years to see Sevendust again but really wish it was at a different venue. :(
